Work of Art Sympathy – January Class (5 of 5)

Work of Art Sympathy

I hope you had a lovely weekend.  The weather was incredible here for mid-February, it was in the upper 50’s.  Derek has a bad cold so we stayed in on Valentine’s Day with takeout dinner and a movie.  We had a nice quite evening.

Whenever you need a sympathy it’s something you need right then.  I found this clean and simple design online (when my computer went belly up I couldn’t find the fellow demonstrator’s name)  and just couldn’t resist CASE’ing it.  I did add the sympathy sentiment.  The base card is Very Vanilla.  I layered the Very Vanilla rectangle layer onto a Mossy Meadow layer.  The Mossy Meadow swoosh from “Work of Art”is first inked up then stamped off, then stamped three times (this give a softer feel).  Then stamp the Coral image from “By The Tide” in Hello Honey.  It’s cool how it has a golden look.  The sentiment was stamped full strength in Mossy Meadow.  Then wrap the rectangle twice with Linen Thread and tie into a knot then popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Finally, the finishing touch was to add three small rhinestones in the lower part of the coral.

I appreciate you stopping by today and hope you have a great Monday.
