Valentines Day will be here before we know it. If you’re looking for something to fill with a wee bit of treats this cute box fits the bill perfectly. This is the second project we created in my January classes.
The Tiny Treat Box is made from Crumb Cake that I stamped both sides with the Hardwood Background stamp in Baked Brown Sugar. [TIP: Make sure to stamp the lid flap so when the box is closed the flap is stamped like the box sides.] The box size just happens to be 2″ x 2″ x 2″, so the lid starts with a Real Red 2″ x 2″ x 2″ square. Next is a 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ Gold Foil square punched with the Sweetheart punch on a slight angle popped with dimensionals. Next is a Sweetheart heart punched from Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack, I picked the mini red hearts. [Cool Alert……One side of the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack is all Valentine hearts and colors, the opposite side is all Black & White with different designs.] The heart was glued flat to the red square. This is a nice way to show a different type of dimension. The mini banner is just 3/8″ x 2″ stamped with So Sweet from Hello Life stamp set (from the new Occasions Catalog) in Baked Brown Sugar. Yes…….I know, it does have a golden look doesn’t it? Finally its topped with a Gold Glimmer Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack heart popped with a dimensional.
This was a huge hit at class, I hope you’ll give this fun, easy project a try. It would also make great favors for any occasion. A shout out to Amy Barnes for the super cute inspiration I received last July at convention in a 2″ x 2″ swap!
