I was organizing my card stash this last weekend during our snow storm and found one from way back when and thought I would like to remake. It is fun to see how your design aesthetic evolves and changes. The most evident is MORE layers! Lol! I opted to use the Hardwood Background stamp instead of embossing, which was a surprise to me. Hi, my name is Carol and I’m an emboss-a-holic. 😎 I also wanted to give a more masculine feel. Do you think I achieved my goal?
Below is the original card from 2010. This post is a great example how you can take a layout and switch (or add) just a few things to give a completely different look.
