Happy Friday everyone! We are in the middle of low to mid-80’s weather which is just perfect for me. It is muggy but I can handle that. It’s nice that it cools off over night so we can sleep with our windows open. Don’t worry they are up stairs. 😎 As soon as I’ve completed this post I’m off to start cutting and cleaning my studio for classes this weekend. Yay! I look forward to stamping with my ladies, they always lift my spirits.
Today’s post is a clean with details design that we created in July’s Class. After creating the Soccer Ball card I had scads of Hexagon shapes left over and challenged myself to create a card using these leftover pieces. It starts with a Basic Black base embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. It’s hard to see but I punched Silver Glimmer Hexagons. Then layered four of the checkered image from Six-Sided Sampler stamp set that were stamped with StaZon Jet Black then trimmed (making them slightly smaller then punch size). Next I layered the leftover hexagon shapes from the Soccer Ball card we made this month as well onto the stamped images. These were topped off with a large rhinestone for extra sparkle. The sentiment is from And Many More which is stamped onto Whisper White with StaZon Jet Black. Then punched with the Word Window punch and layered onto same punched shape in Basic Black and Silver Glimmer. The Basic Black and Silver Glimmer shapes were cut in half vertically and spread slightly apart. Everything was then popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I hope you enjoy this card and will leave a comment letting me know just that.
