Good Wednesday morning (hump day!) stampin’ peeps!
Here is the second make-n-take I designed for last month’s retreat featuring the Sprinkles of Life stamp set from the new Annual Catalog. I like the clean and simple feel of this card. I, of course, sparkled it up by embossing the cupcake holder with silver embossing powder onto Silver Foil paper.
CARD BASE: This is a long & narrow card using Pink Pirouette with varying widths of the banners in Watermelon Wonder (a new In Color), Whisper White and Smoky Slate. The end where all punched with the new Triple Banner punch…YES!… all these sizes will fit into the punch (1″, 1-1/2″ and 2″). I just love this punch. I’m excited to see what else I can come with using this punch.
CUPCAKE: The cupcake base is Silver Foil embossed with silver embossing powder. I did have them fussy cut it out. It really is only three straight lines and a slight curve at the top. The cupcake topping is the Leaves bunch from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. It was stamped in Smoky Slate ink onto Pink Pirouette and punched out with the Tree Builder punch. OMGosh I REALLY love this punch (even more then the Triple Banner)! This shape is great for the cupcake top, a tree or even as a mask for clouds (hint, hint, on Friday’s post). It was topped with several rhinestones to give that over-the-top sparkle. Lol!
SENTIMENT: This sentiment is one of many included in the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. It was stamped in Smoky Slate onto a Smoky Slate strip. TIP: Make sure to punch the end first so you don’t stamp too close to the right side.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a great Wednesday!
