Shimmery Pink Kitty Treat Holder

Pink Kitty Face Dress

Hello and happy Friday Eve!  Another beautiful day here in Portland (54 degrees and sunny).  Sorry to all those on the East Coast with inches of snow.

Today’s post was inspired by the Candy Pink Kitty dress that Meghan Trainor wore in her most recent video (lips are movin’)… you’re thinking “l’ll have to check the dress out to see if I’ve done it justice,” go ahead it’s okay.  Lol!  After seeing the video several times it kept calling to me that I could make a cute card and then I thought……. OOOH……I could switch the Thinlits Curvy Keepsake Box Hello Kitty I made with for Pink Pirouette and the rest was history.  I spritzed the Pink Pirouette base with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz (I transferred it to a different spritz bottle for a smoother finish), so it has a subtle shimmer look, not exactly sequins but hey it shines.  Lol!  The ears are the smallest size from the Hearts Collection Framelits.  The eyes are Marina Mist that I first clear embossed for a shiny look then punched 1/2″ circles, then topped with Basic Black iris’ and popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The whiskers are really thin strips of Basic Black glued to small Pink Pirouette rectangles that are popped with Dimensionals as well.  Finally, the nose is a portion of a Red Glimmer circle, not quite a quarter of the circle but close.  (TIP:  I did trim down the arc a bit so it looked not so round.)

I hope you have enjoyed my pink kitty post today and maybe even found inspiration.  I would love to hear your comments .  Thank you for stopping by today and have a great day!
