Sending Wishes Artisan Embellishment Flowers

I hope you’ve had a great week!  I’ve been doing some serious spring cleaning getting ready for the second annual Arts & Crafts Garage Sale this Saturday.  (stamps, punches, dies, paper and loads more “stuff”).  Below is a pic of what my table will look like after I set up.  I had my hubster help organize and re-organize to get to more on my 3″ x 6″ table including some vertical displays.  I’m using CD stack cases to display ribbon (right-back) and Derek make a grid unit to display ink pads w/reinkers (left-back).  I’m shocked at all the items that are on display.  (you can take that how ever you want!  Lol)  If you’re local please stop by tomorrow and say hi and check out all the amazing stuff.  You just never know what you’ll find.  Nothing you need but EVERYTHING you want!!!  Lol!

Butterfly Basics Artisan Embellishments 600dpi

On to today’s post that was inspired by flipping over the “floral” die cut piece from the Artisan Embellishment kit.  One side is white and other other is golden-ish (it’s actually Sahara Sand).  I cut a back piece in Blackberry Bliss slightly larger then the die-cut layer, it was looking a bit flat (in other words-not sparkly enough) so I spritzed the Blackberry Bliss layer with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz and it gave the perfect amount of sparkle without being too much.  It made the die-cut layer look even more golden.  Woohoo!  Okay, now on to the base.  It is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Brushed Gold adhered flat.  Then the die cut and spritzed layers were popped onto the Brushed Gold rectangle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I just LOVE the elegance of this so far, don’t you?  I didn’t want to over power what was there, so I decided at add the smallest rhinestones to the center of the die cut flowers.  It ended up being another subtle addition.  Sweet!!!  Keeping with the subtle elegant theme I went with the sending wishes your way sentiment from the Butterfly Basics Photopolymer stamp set stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Whisper White punched with the extra large oval, that I popped with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.  If you’re counting, that’s two popped layers.  Lol!  Finally, I added a couple inches of the 1/8″ Blackberry Bliss velvet ribbon (this is just so yummy feeling) that is also in the Artisan Embellishment kit, a die cut bow (in Brushed Gold) from the  Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die Set and topped these off with another small rhinestone to tie it all together.  Sheesh…….creating a simple but elegant design sure takes a lot of work!  I totally LOVE this card and I’d love to to hear your comments.

I hope you have a good Friday and enjoy your weekend!  Don’t forget, if you’re local stop by and say hi on Saturday.
