I finished my “Sparkly Carol” version of the Mother’s Day card I posted on May 14th. I first turned it into a “basket” of flowers. I then sponged all the flowers, stems and leaves, it was hard to photograph, but I also spritzed/embossed the flower centers. I then rearranged the flowers to make all of them more visible.
I did make the “basket” less deep so there would be less empty space within the basket itself. I’m very happy with how it turned out. I hope my mother-in-law will fill enjoy her basket of flowers that will never fade.
I love this flower basket card! Have you posted instruction to make it?
Hi Penny,
I have not yet. Thank you for the kick in the pants. [grin]
I will get working on the instructions right away.
Sparkly Hugs, Carol
Hi Carol, This card is lovely!! Please post instructions. Thanks.
Here is the link and instructions (Qbee’s Quest – Brenda Quintana) of the card that I reinterpreted. It was a one off (Carol’d Up version) that I made and gave to my mom for Mother’s Day (I gave her both versions). I made my basket about half as thick as the original. I didn’t like being able to see the inside of the basket so I made it thinner and added a center strip to adhere the large flowers to.
