Paper Pumpkin Gold Bow (Aug 2015)


OMGosh I had forgotten how energetic kittens are.  AND We have officially named out latest additions – Pepper and Paprika (prika).  We were busy tending to our newest additions this weekend.  They love to play together as well as apart.  Prika loves the stick with leather tassles.  She really seems to be the hunter.  Pepper loves to chase the laser light.  It make us laugh to see them run around in circles until they have to stop because they are dizzy.  They keep coming back for more though.  Lol!

Today’s post is the second design we created in my February Card Class.  It uses a partial portion from one of the card base design from the Chalk It Up To Love August 2015 Paper Pumpkin (kit and refill).  I just love this Paper Pumpkin month and decided to  make alternatives for class.  HELLO….it’s pink with gold bows.  Eek!  I wanted to show how to make the kit go as far as possible.  There is another design from class that I will be posting next Monday.  I hope you will check it out.

CARD BASE:  The card base starts with Basic Black.  Next layered with a Gold Foil square and topped with part of the pink and gold foil bow card from the Chalk It Up To Love August 2015 Paper Pumpin.  Then popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  [TIP:  Wait to adhere the layered squares together and the card base until the bow loops have been punched (see below).]

FOCAL POINT:  I wanted to coordinate my focal point with the pink background and gold bows square so I make it look like a present by adding a Gold Foil band and bow.  Sweet!  The Bow Builder loops were punched from the Gold Foil square before adhering to the card base.
