Masculine Just For You

Masculine Just For You

Whoop, whoop!!  Happy Friday!!!  This week has gone by so fast.  Yay!  Tonight I get to cut cardstock for classes tomorrow.  Yes, I do enjoy cutting cardstock, it relaxes me.  My mind gets to wander in a good way. Lol!

Here is another design I created featuring the new English Garden Designer Series Paper.  I know, I love this paper as well.  It said make me into a guy card.  Well……I still have some “fringed” 1-1/4″ Burlap ribbon pieces hang around and then happy chair dance ensued.  Lol!

CARD BASE:  It starts with Sahara Sand then layered strips of Mossy Meadow and English Garden Designer Series Paper (“manly” dots – Giggles!!!)

FOCAL:  Well……let’s go with the fringe.  How you can achieve this fun fringe is to cut the Burlap Ribbon to length and then cut in half lengthwise.  These two halves is enough for two cards.  Then pull the long strands away from the surged edge.  Viola’, fringe!  I just love this look and then taped it to the back of the DSP layers, then popping with dimensionals.  Yes, the entire strip is popped with dimensionals.  I had to get more height somewhere.  (grin)

SENTIMENT:  This sentiment is from the “You’re So Sweet” stamp set.  It was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink onto Whisper White cardstock then trimmed away the surrounding frame leaving only the banner shape and sentiment.  When I laid this onto the card I was “Ahhhh, that makes me happy”.  I then started thinking there is no bling / sparkle / shine on the card.  I was thinking where can I add a bit of bling and then I came across the dots in the scrolls just above and below the “Just For You” and that’s all she wrote.  Woohoo!  Happy Chair Dance time again.  Lol!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you have a great Friday and weekend to boot!
