Layered Letters Alphabet ~ Twist & Pop

Layered Letters Alphabet Pop & Twist Front

Happy New Year stampin’ friends!  I just couldn’t wait any longer to share this adorable take on the “Pop & Twist” card.  It features the Layered Letters Alphabet stamp set, Layering Ovals Framelits and Seasonal Decorative Masks.  This is so me……lots of pink, sparkle and shine.  [Grin]  I was inspired by Teresa Leggo’s version.  You can check it out here.

BASE:  The base starts with Pink Pirouette then Whisper White for the interior Pop & Twist.  (See below.)  I layered the front with Textured Pink Pirouette (vintage) to add subtle texture.

SPARKLY OVAL:  I layered the Silver Glimmer Oval with a slightly smaller Whisper White Oval from the Layering Ovals Framlits Dies set.  The Whisper White oval was sponged with Pink Pirouette ink using Seasonal Decorative Masks first before layering onto the scallop oval.  Then for more girlie touches I added two bows from the Shaker Shapes Framelits Dies.

HAPPY:  I cut the “Happy” in Silver Foil from the Hello You Thinlits Dies.

Layered Letters Alphabet Birthday Interior

INTERIOR:  I sponged the Whisper White band with Pink Pirouette ink using the Seasonal Decorative Masks as well.  Next I topped the Silver Glimmer Scalloped Ovals with slightly smaller Whisper White Ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  But, first I Silver Embossed “birthday” from the Layered Letters Alphabet Stamp Set onto Whisper White before the ovals were die cut.  [TIP:  You need to use glue dots to permanently adhere cardstock to glimmer paper.]

I hope you enjoyed today’s design as much as I had making it.  Thank you for stopping by.  Until next time…… happy stamping!
