Kinda Eclectic Sympathy

5 500pxl Kinda Eclectic Sympathy - Rachel Palmieri

Good morning!  The BZBStamper annual retreat at the Oregon Garden Resort in Silver, Oregon kicked off without a hitch.  Woohoo!  This is the first year Barb didn’t have to run home to retrieve a forgotten item.  double Woohoo!!  The pillow gift was super cute and don’t you know I forgot to take a pic.  I’ll take one today and post it later.  We had a chicken, artichoke hearts and pepperoncini on flatbread pizza for dinner and man-o-man it was yummy.  I did pick the pepperoncini off.  Lol!

Today I have for you the last, but certainly not least, design my ladies created in my September class.  It features the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

BASE:  It starts with Lost Lagoon with the corners rounded to reflect the curves of the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.  Layered with Sahara Sand and Whisper White.  Both layers were punched with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.  It punches slightly offset (not centered) so your shapes will come out rectangular.  (TIP:  I’ve haven’t tried this yet, but I’ll let you know if it works.  To get a square, punch one corner then the opposite corner.  Then flip over and punch the opposite corners.)

FOCAL POINT:  The leaves from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set are stamped with Lost Lagoon ink.  Then the splotchy dots are from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set stamped in Sahara Sand ink.  The layers are popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

SENTIMENT:  This is a vintage set from many moons ago, Warmest Regards.  I just love the font style with it’s beautiful script handwriting.  I stamped onto Whisper White with Lost Lagoon ink, then die cut from a tag die set from my Spellbinder “stash”.  Lol!  Then I wove Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin Ribbon through the holes and attached to the back.  I put a couple Stampin Dimensionals on the back before adhering.

I love the clean simplicity of this design and a shout out to Rachel Palmieri for the wonderful inspiration.  Recently I’ve been having to use more sympathy cards the I’d like, so this helps to replenish my supply.  I hope you enjoy today’s design and will give a try.  Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend!
