Good Monday morning stampin’ peeps! Isn’t this fella just too stinkin’ cute? Would you like to know to create this adorable guy? Well…..let me just tell you!
The base starts with Basic Black, followed by a layer of Calypso Coral, then Real Red and finally topped off with a layer from the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack (found in the Occasions Catalog). Next I punched a 2-1/2″ Circle from Basic Black and heat embossed the I Heart You Teeth Sentiment from One Tag Fits All stamp set (also in the Occasions Catalog) in white. [TIP: Make sure to use your embossing buddy liberally so any excess embossing powder will come off easily when you tap the back.] I did pop him with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next are the eyes which are 1/2″ (Basic Black), 7/8″ (Calypso Coral) and 1″ Whisper White) punched circles. [TIP: Break out your white gel pen to give your eyes that bit of pop to give him his expression.] I glued these to his body with Multipurpose Liquid Glue so they would stay put. Next is the banner he’s holding to let you know he truly does love you. The banner is Calypso Coral that is stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. [TIP: I generally separate the sentiment from the image so that I can stamp each individually or put them together as originally intended. I like to have as many options as possible.] The banner is just laid over his body and the ends are attached to the card front with a couple Glue Dots. Finally, are the hands which are 1″ Basic Black Circles popped with Dimensionals. Finally, I applied six of the pompoms from the Calypso Coral pompom trim with Glue Dots.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have a great Monday. ALSO, I shout out to Rachel Tessman for this adorable guy that I just had to CASE.
