Another great weather day in Portland! My mom brought over a big bag of Marion berries on Tuesday, so I made a Marion berry pie yesterday. Yum! I love berry pies but when I make them they were always runny. I finally found the perfect ingredient to fix this……..tapioca flour. I had a lot of people say yes tapioca is good to use……..no…….tapioca flour. What a huge difference it makes! Just be careful to not splash the juices because they’ll leave a stain. Lol! Here’s what my pie looks like with a slice cut out. YUM! Make sure it cools down and is refrigerated over night. Perfect!!!
