I hope all you beautiful mothers had a great day yesterday! I took my mom to lunch at our favorite spot The Old Spaghetti Factory. I ALWAYS order Mazithra with Browned Butter. Mmmmmm!!! We then went to K.Marie a local boutique craft store and made a crepe paper flower, and finally to the local farmer’s market. To make the afternoon the best it was sunny and warm, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
I have fallen in love the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper. I especially love the Coral and Blue floral sheets. They showed this slider technique at Stampin’ Up! Convention last year and then when I saw Dawn Griffith’s video I gave it a go. I changed the colors and designer series paper for a “spring-y” feel. Everyone really liked this card, especially after they saw that the glue dots holding the frame to the card cannot touch the white slider part. Lots of big smiles when they moved the slider. Please pardon the ink in the corner, I didn’t have a chance to takes pics before class.
It was a little scary for everyone to stamp after the frame to placed on the card, but I am happy to say everyone did a great job stamping!!!
