Hello Gorgeous Grunge Butterflies

Hello Gorgeous Grunge Butterflies

Good Monday Morning!  I hope you had an enjoyable 4th of July holiday weekend.  We laid low for most of the weekend because we have been in the mid to upper 90’s here.  BUT, that gave me the chance to play in my studio without feeling guilty about not going outside.  Lol!  We did watch fireworks on our local channel.  They show the Fort Vancouver Fireworks display which lasts about 45 minutes.  They are spectacular even on TV.  Speaking of playing in my studio, I pulled together my swaps for Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Convention.  Woohoo!  I decided to go with this design for one of my four swaps.  I am also participating on a Twinchie (2″ x 2″) organized swap.  Don’t worry, you know I’ll share them over the next little while.  [grin]

Well, this also just happens to be the third design from my June Card Class.  I love the simplicity and bright colors with, of course, a bit of sparkle. Lol!

CARD BASE:  It starts with a 3-1/4″ x 11″ Whisper White base.  Next is a layer of Whisper White stamped with the “Splotches” from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  This stamp set has become one of my go-to sets for any background stamping whether subtle or bold.

FOCAL POINT:  The coordinating Bitty Butterflies give a modern pop.  Especially with the addition of a couple Rhinestones on each one.  Love it!

SENTIMENT:  I really wanted to keep this clean and simple, because the stamping and butterflies are making the bold statement.  So, I went with “hello” from the Endless Birthday Wishes set stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you have a great Monday and good week!

      Hi Carolyn,
They are a stamp image from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set. Any type of “splotchy” stamp would work.
      I hope this helps.
      Sparkly Hugs, Carol
