Good Monday morning! I finally broke down and purchase the fun Hang Your Stocking bundle. WOW…….I am so glad I did. This weekend my design mojo was flowing and I created three designs with this bundle. Today’s share is the first and I will share the remaining over my next few posts.
Snow always make me think of a blue and white color combo. This time I went with Night of Navy and Whisper White AND added just a bit of sparkle with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer. The Hang Your Stocking stamp set has this adorable mini snowflake that inspired me to create the strip that mimics washi tape. I used Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer on the bottom layer of the strip and as a shadow effect on the “Noel” from the Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies Set.
The embossing and torn edges of the Whisper White band make the mini snowflakes and “Noel” pop as well as add texture.
BASE: I went with a Long & Narrow size card (3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″) in Night of Navy layered with a Whisper White band. The edges of the band were torn and then embossed with the Soft Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
FOCAL BAND: Stamp the Mini Snowflake from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set onto a 3/8″ Whisper White strip with Night of Navy ink. Then I layered it onto slightly wider strips of Night of Navy and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer. [TIP: You’ll need to use Tear & Tape to adhere the Night of Navy onto the Glimmer. Tear & Tape, Dimensionals and Glue Dots are the only things that will stick permanently to Glimmer cardstock.]
SENTIMENT: Guess what? No stamping here. Sweet! The “Noel” is from the Christmas Stockings Thinlits Dies Set in Night of Navy. Then a second layer from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer that I slightly offset to add more dimension and a bit more sparkle.
- STAMP: Hang Your Stocking
- PAPER: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer
- INK: Night of Navy

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and great Monday. Until next time……happy stamping.
Sparkly Hugs, Carol
