Fun Times at Saturday’s Safari Retreat!

01 Retreat Swag

Happy hump day!  We’ve had several day of rain (it down-right pour yesterday), but, we tomorrow we are back in the sunshine.  They are even talking low nineties this weekend.  😎  Saturday I presented at our first demonstrator sponsored retreat.  The theme was “Stampin’ Safari”.  Check out the cute swag bag and other goodies we received.  The bag and box are just adorable!  The small cup, small wooden stamp box case on the right and the two packages in the middle were in our swag bag.  They included candy, a note pad and pencil so we didn’t forget anything, a sneak peak dsp sampler and swatches of the new In Color lace dotted ribbon.  Super cool!!!  The Safari box was from the doorprize drawing.  It was an acrylic block cleaning clothing.  Woohoo, I needed a new one!  OH……I almost forgot (I did forget to take a pic) we received a new color chart with all the core families and both sets of In Colors.  A HUGE shout out the Easter Eberly and Marcy Daniels for punching all the butterflies (somewhere around 3,000 of them).  Finally, the white bag on the right was full of yummy candies and was a thank you for all the helpers that helped pull the retreat together, presented or spoke.  It was a fun day and below are a few pics of some of the wonderful people I got to spend time with.

01 Alicia-Carol

Here I am with Alicia Graham who makes me happy and smile whenever I see her and we always exchange great big hugs.  She was the morning speaking and did an AWESOME job!

01 Marcy-Carol

Here I am with Marcy Daniels.  I was lucky enough to join their house group at convention last year and got to know her and she is the just the sweetest and giving person.  Oh, you see the punch art Tucan on my name tag?  Marcy and Easter Eberly created 60+ of these “Safari” inspired tag adornments.  Let’s see what ones I can remember.  Tucan, Elephant, Giraffe, Monkey… there where probably others, but that’s all I can remember.  Thank you ladies, you did an awesome job!!!  PS….Marcy is great at taking “seflies”.  Lol!

01 Meredith-x-Lori-Carol

Here we are waiting in the line for out potluck lunch.  Meredith, Lori’s friend, Lori and myself.  Oh man did the ladies outdo themselves when it came to lunch items.  There was so much yummy food to choose from!  We were excitedly waiting to browse all the wonderful food selections…..can you tell?

Thank you for stopping by today!  I will be posting some of the make-n-takes we made, swaps and displays that were shared, make sure to come back and check them out.  Have a great Wednesday!

Sparkly Hugs, Carol
