I wanted to share with you this design because I also wanted to share how (for me) a design can evolve and change to suit what it’s needed for.
So……….I have been teaching classes at a local Boutique Craft Store (K.Marie). In these classes I am given the opportunity to go over the top, way over the top as the owner of K.Marie LOVES sparkle and anything Parisian. Yes, it’s hard to believe, but she loves sparkle even more then I do. I have previously posted three of the designs for February’s iWOW U class. You could tell that they where inspired by all the fun and fabulous gold items in the new Occasions Catalog, BUT also Valentine’s Day. I went the non-traditional route with White, Black and Gold (all types of gold!).
I embossed the En Francais Background Gold Embossing Powder. The Parfume Bottle image was stamped onto a Window Sheet with Versamark then Gold Embossed as well.
With these classes I am free to use all that sparkles, but when I transition these to my iWOW U classes for my studio I like to use all Stampin’ Up! So you’ll want to come back tomorrow and see how I modified this design. You’ll really want to come back tomorrow and shake (oops, I meant) check it out! [wink, wink] I would like to hear any comments you may have on either design!
