Are you getting ready to spend time with family and friends and give thanks? Although I am stuck a home nursing a badly twisted ankle (did it Tuesday on my way home from work) I will give thanks the it isn’t broken and I’m on the mend. AND that Derek is being very attentive and patient with me.
Today I would like to share my version of Hello Kitty using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits Die. I JUST LOVE IT!!! The body starts with Whisper White. The ears are the smallest Hearts Collection Framelits upside down with the humps bent to create the base to glue to the body. I curved them slightly to look more like ears. The bow is Melon Mambo punched from the small Heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the bow knot is a 1/4″ Circle. The eyes and nose are also from the 1/4″ Circle punch popped with a quarter of a dimensional. The whiskers are 1/16″ Basic Black strips glued to a 3/16″ Whisper White strip and trimmed to each side of whiskers, then popped with a narrow piece of dimensional. I had been thinking about designing this cutie but hadn’t gotten to it yet and when I saw Jenn Gross’ version it gave me the kick to create Carol’s version. Lol! I hope you enjoy and will give this cutie a try.
