Happy hump day! It’s still busy at work with getting invoices out and preparing for mid-month payroll. Sheesh, all that neediness from my “day job”. Lol! Well, at least I have job security, right? [grin]
I would like to share another grouping of Convention swaps I received. I really love that they are pretty close to the same color scheme, but are all completely different. Two even use the same Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper but in totally different ways. So inspiring.
CARD 1 (Top Left): This features the Watercolor Wings and Butterfly Basics stamp sets. The striking butterfly combines the Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits. The solid background of the butterfly is from the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper. I love this fun “pocket” card with a slide out sentiment. I received this striking swap from Christopher Famolaro.
CARD 2 (Top Right): This uses the Awesomely Artistic stamp set, and she even embossed the dragonfly in gold. The embossing adds a nice bit of shine. This swap also incorporates the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper. AND I like the Gold Foil hello from the Greetings Thinlits die set. Another great way to add more shine without going over the top. I received this “golden” swap from Sandy Vincent.
CARD 3 (Bottom): This is a great example of “clean and simple” card design. This swap features the “thank you” from the Tin of Cards stamp set as well as one of my favorite Designer Series Paper Packs – Timeless Elegance. I do believe the “shiny drops” are Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers colored black (my guess would be a Sharpie). I really enjoy the striking simplicity of the swap and a great job goes out to Stacy McCain.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have enjoyed my mini grouping of Convention swaps. Let me know which of today’s is your favorite.
