TGIF Everyone! It’s been busy at work catching up from taking three days off last week to attend Stampin’ Up!’s annual convention. Woohoo! I had a blast and now I’d like to share a few of the swaps I received from convention. What is a “swap” you might be asking, well, you make a number of the same card front (we don’t do full cards) say 25, then you swap yours and get from someone else. It is so cool to get ideas and inspiration that you can reuse, or in my case, put on my display boards for my local Pinkstampagne peeps to see up close and in person. [grin]
Here is the first group I’d like to share. These are super cute and HELLO there’s even some pink and sparkle going on. Lol!
Card 1: The calla lily card features the Remarkable You stamp set. I must say I was trying to resist this stamp set because of the coloring factor, but I’ve seen many ideas that don’t need a lot of coloring. Dang it! Now I’m going to have to get this set. Lol!
Card 2: The “green” card features the Market Fresh stamp set for the Lettuce and Sentiment, as well as the Hardwood background stamp. The cute lettuce sentiment and it looking like its in a basket is just adorable.
Card 3: Next, I was drawn to the watercolor’ed flowers on the bottom card. More pink and a bit of yellow make a wonderful combination and super easy to do with ink pads and an Aqua painter. The flower stems and sentiment are from the Garden in Bloom stamp set.
If you’d like to see the watercolor flower technique or how to make any of these adorable creations just leave a comment below.
Thank you for stopping today! Have a great Friday and weekend. See you Monday for more stampin’ inspiration and ideas.
