Fall is definitely in the air. The leaves of our oak tree are turning and it is beautiful. The tree, at one point, will have green, yellow, orange and red leaves. It truly is a wonder to see from my studio window while I’m working.
Today’s post is one of my designs featuring the “Boo To You” Framelits dies. The idea of a cornucopia popped into my head when I first saw the “Witches Hat” from the Boo to You Framelits. This is my first version. I need to work on it more but I wanted to share what I had so far.
BASE: The base is Pear Pizzazz, layered with Early Espresso and Very Vanilla
FOCAL POINT: Not only did I use the “Witches Hat”, I also used the pumpkin and the spider (squash) from the set. The pear is the flower from the “Baby’s First” Framelits Set. The “Apple” is from the Build a Tree punch and the branches and fruit stems are from the Bird Builder punch. The basket is stamped with the the striped image from the Amazing Birthday horizontally and vertically for the woven backet look.
SENTIMENT: I stamped the sentiment from the “For All Things” stamp set onto a Pear Pizzazz banner with Soft Suede ink. Then layered it onto an narrower Early Espresso banner. Next I wrapped Gold Metallic Thread several times and taped it to the banner, then pop with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Hey, it needed some sparkle. Lol!
I hope you have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!
