Well……..I had been looking through my pictures of all the card classes I have had the fun to create and share with all my lovely and fun stampin’ peeps! When I came across this it brought back such, I’ll say fond (wink, wink) memories. This is from 2010 when we had to design and create our own “flip” cards. This was one of the first I created. I had the awesome experience of sharing this “flip” card and demonstrating a Christmas paper piecing “flip” card at the 2010 Stampin’ Up! Regional here is Portland, Oregon. It was was an experience that I’ll never forget, because it was my first public speaking experience (300+ demo’s). I did have a panic attack on the way there but pulled my big girl panties up tight and made it. It was “not too shabby” and I even got a laugh because I “flunked” showing my sample to the audience instead of the video camera (Lol!). I even got to meet Shelli Gardner and sit next to her while waiting to go on stage. Eek!!!
See, I was adding “bling” to my cards even way back then! Lol!!! The embossed circles add a fun sparkle and dimension, AND the layered ribbon and bows between the tiers made a cute finishing touch. The inside picture shows my inspiration. I love me a cute and yummy piece of cake.
