Happy Monday! This is the fourth design we created in March’s Card Class. Using the Angled Tag Topper Punch to create a fun different style of card opening has been very appealing. I came across this easy variation and gave it a try. A shout out to Michelle Reynolds for the inspiration.
I cut 1-1/2″ inches from the front of the card. I then made two Angled Tag Topper strips (one long and one short) to create the off-center opening with a ribbon tie closure. TIP: Adhere the right (short) tag strip to the interior card piece (in Whisper White) before adhering to interior of card. The strips were cut from Silver Foil Cardstock. I die cut a circle the same size as the Soft Sky die cut Starburst from “Oh, Happy Day” out of Silver Glimmer Paper, it just peeks out for a subtle glittery sparkle. I stamped the small medallion image from Starburst Sayings on Silver Foil Cardstock with Silver Embossing Powder to give a subtle tone-on-tone texture and then die cut with the Starburst Framelit.
