Have you ever started playing with a stamp and come up with something completely different then you originally envisioned? Well I sure did, again! Recently I have noticed a resurgence of interest in my original 13-in-one-derful cutting layout and designs. So I enjoyed revisiting this again but creating updated versions.
A couple years ago I created my original 13-in-one-derful bundle of designs using the “Best of” Flowers stamp set. [You can see cards #1-4 here.] I used the Hydrangea stamp to create my own Designer Series Paper. This time I was playing with the “Basket Bunch” stamp set and created a page full of mini-eggs. After stamping seriously I pulled up my Big Girl pants and colored three of the five eggs. YES! I colored that many eggs. AND I then went back over the coloring and brushed with Clear Wink of Stella.
After all the coloring and Wink of Stella I was very nervous about cutting up the “designer series paper” but cut it apart I did. You can download the cutting layout here. Then I went to work and and recreated the 1-4 designs. I really wanted to use only the words from the same stamp set and I very happy with the variety I was able to come up with. I also added a few additional elements to pull more of the egg element together.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you are inspired to revisit some of your previous creations. I also hope you have a great Friday and weekend!
