Have you ever started playing with a stamp and come up with something completely different then you originally envisioned? Well I sure did.
“Best of” Flowers has become one of my favorite stamp sets. I used the Hydrangea stamp to create my own Designer Series Paper. The Basic Version I stamped and colored the images on Very Vanilla Cardstock. The Stepped Up Version I stamped and colored the images on Shimmery White and then added Dazzling Details sparkly glue (to add sparkle)! After I stamped, colored and of course added sparkle to my sheet, I challenged myself to come up with as many different cards from one sheet of paper as I could! I was able to create 13 cards that I really love. I am calling these my “13-in-one-derful” cards.
I created a basic version that used less layers (cuz I’m all about layers!!!), no ribbon and no embellishments. WHAT, you say!!! This was hard for me because not only do I like my layers I LOVE my embellishments. The first pic shows Cards 1-4 (the basic version). The second pic shows the “Stepped Up” version.
Cards #2 & #4 – I added taffeta ribbon; Card #3 I added a “framing” layer in basic black; Card #4 – I embossed the Elegant Eggplant strip with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder. I also created more dimension to the stepped up cards by adding more dimensionals to pop up the layers.

Happy Stamping!
Sparkly Hugs, Carol
I was looking for the size of the card used as the basic building block, can you advise please?
Great question. All the cards are a standard A2 size which is 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
I love the colors you chose. I’m going to run with this and see what I can do. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you and you are most welcome Claudia!
I would love to see what you create. I’m looking forward to seeing it!
