Flower Frenzy Gift Set

Happy hump day!  I am excited to say our reroofing adventure is finally over.  I was home sick yesterday, but was so glad when the last of the workers drove out of the driveway.  Ah, back to peace and quite.  Lol!  It looks great!  Now we just have to paint quite a few of the facia boards that needed replacing.  Woohoo!

Today I have for you an add-on project that I was honored to be asked to share at the BZBStamper Retreat on October 23-25.  It features Timeless Elegance Designer Series Papaer, Tag Talk stamp set and Flower Frenzy Bigz Die (vintage).  [TIP:  Any three similar shaped and varied sizes of flowers will work with this.]  I revamped the version I created earlier this year for Craft Project Central to give a fresh new look.  I love the pop from the Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Calypso Coral and B&W color combination.

BASE:  The gift bag and three cards all start with a Pear Pizzazz base.  Then the bag and two of the card are layered with Timeless Elegance Designer Series paper.  The third card has an extra wide band of Textured Old Olive (vintage).  This give a subtle bit of texture to the card.

FOCAL POINTS:  They are the flowers on all the pieces.  The gift bag has two each of the Large, Medium and Small flowers.  The left card has one each of the Large, Medium and Small flowers.  The center card has one each of the Medium, Small and Extra Small (Petite Petals Punch).  Then the right card has 4 four flowers from the Petite Petals Punch.  They were all Sponged generously with Calypso Coral ink, then scored from each petal tip to the opposite petal intersection.  After scoring slightly fold to give more definition and height.  More height is always good.  Lol!  Each of the large flowers has an Antique Brad placed in the center and topped with a small rhinestone to add even more sparkle.  😎   The two small flowers have a 1/4″ circle of Silver Glimmer topped with a small rhinestones to add a bit of sparkle as well.

Also, included are loads of “petal” leaves.  The bag handle and band each used five Medium Flowers from the Flower Frenzy Die (vintage).  The left card also used five flowers.  The center flower only need one (yay!).  All the flowers were generously sponged with Pear Pizzazz ink and then cut into five wedges (except one was left whole).  They were glue onto strips layered 1/2″ apart.

SENTIMENTS:  They are from the Tag Talk stamp set.  The center card is a Label Brack punch piece of Calypso Coral layered with Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz pieces stamped in StaZon-Jet Black and hand cut.  The right card is Whisper White stamped with StaZon-Jet Black ink and hand cut.
