Today’s Christmas in the Making BOO-tiful is the first of four designs from my October Card Class. I had thought about repurposing this image for Halloween. I had asked my September Card Class stampers what they would like to do for October. To my surprise they wanted to start Christmas cards early and Autumn or Thanksgiving designs as well. So this challenged by to put my idea into fruition. Love it!
To create the Old Olive “scallop” strip and rectangle I cut several pieces and layered them together to get the fun scallop look.
I really like the bright and bold color palette the includes the Black & White Gingham from Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.
The adorable pumpkin trio as well as the “bootiful” sentiment are from the vintage Spooky Fun stamp set. I had to make use of what I had on hand. (wink, wink) To my excitement they they fit perfectly. [smile]
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed today’s Christmas in the Making BOO-tiful design. I also hope you have a great Friday and weekend!
